Croftlands Junior is a Kidsafe registered school and Mrs C Brown delivers the Kidsafe programme to children in the Lower School. The children in the Upper School take part in workshops through NSPCC.
The majority of school staff are qualified in First Aid.
As they have day to day contact with children, schools are particularly well placed to observe outward signs of abuse, changes in behaviour, or failure to develop.
The Designated Safeguarding Lead is Miss Mahon and the Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead is Mrs McMillan. Our Safeguarding Governor is Pat Robinson.

Online Safety
At Croftlands Junior School, we understand that technology is an essential part of modern life. The internet and other digital and information technologies open up opportunities for pupils and play an important role in their everyday lives. We aim to teach our children how to keep themselves safe online.
Miss L Anderton is our Online Safety officer.
